Gentleness?

Last Sunday's sermon was from Ephesians. I've been thinking about it off and on all week, and still I don't think I have a clear answer.

What does "gentleness" really mean?

Does it mean lady-like? Graceful? Sensitive? Quiet??

How does one strive to be more gentle? How do guys become gentle? Can anyone name someone that I know who is gentle? Both a guy and a girl?

See, I understand humility, patience, and love. I know what I'm lacking in those areas, because I understand what the end result should be. But gentleness is a mystery. I don't think I understand what gentleness is, thus I don't know how to strive towards it.

Ephesians 4:2 -- Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.
